Pasta Products
Myllyn Paras pasta products are made by mixing hard wheat flour with fresh water until it forms a dough. The dough is kneaded until it reaches the correct consistency, and then it is pushed, or extruded, through a die, a metal disc with holes in it. The size and shape of the holes in the die determine what the shape of the pasta will be. The pasta is sent through large dryers which dry the pasta in about 3 hours. After that the pasta is packed in bags or boxes.
