Other management

The company's operative management is carried out in accordance with the approved management organization. Management organization is an important part of the company's corporate governance. The organization includes the Group's Executive Board. The Group Executive Board has no official status under company law.

Management organization

The activities of the Group are divided in two business units:
o Mill
o Frozen Products

The Group's sister company has business activities in Russia within the limits of the sector in which the Group operates.

Sales is divided geographically into Finland , other EU Member States and CIS countries.

The business units are legal companies and the Managing Director of the parent company is also their managing director. The Boards of Directors of subsidiaries have as few members as possible. Board members are usually from inside the Group. Exceptions can be approved only if there is a particularly justified reason for doing so. The Managing Director of the parent company or his substitute generally serves as Chairman of the board of the subsidiaries.

Sales, marketing, product development and purchases take place centrally under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations. Business units have independent responsibility for their production and logistic functions. The production managers of profit centres report directly to the Managing Director.

The parent company is responsible for financial management, legal matters, strategic resources and enterprise resources planning and tracking systems. As well as being responsible for these functions, the parent company creates and provides the business units with the resources and services needed.

The Group Executive Board assists the Managing Director and consists of the Managing Director as chairman and the Director of Commercial Operations.
